Maura Anning is a driven and goal-oriented individual hailing from Ghana, West Africa, and currently residing in Boston Ma. With a passion for software engineering and AI, I am dedicated himself to the world of technology and its limitless possibilities.

I was born and raise in Ghana, and came to the USA for my academy journey. Receiving my diploma from Malden High School marked the beginning of a remarkable academic journey, underscoring my dedication to acquiring knowledge and honing my skills. Currently, I am pursuing a major in Computer Science, with minors in Business and Mathematics at Salem State University, further expanding my expertise in the field.

I am a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual with a passion for AI/ML & software engineering. Graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Salem State University with honors (Cum Laude), I have gained valuable knowledge and skills in various areas of computer science, including software engineering, Artificial Intelligence, data structures and algorithms, and operating systems.

Throughout my academic journey, I have demonstrated exceptional time management skills and a strong record of completing numerous successful projects. For instance, during my capstone project at SSU Rental, I led the development of a web application for off-campus housing, utilizing technologies such as Angular, TypeScript, and MySQL. This project not only honed my technical skills but also showcased my ability to deliver practical solutions to real-world problems.

Additionally, my experience at Fidelity as a Crypto Engineer further solidified my expertise in software development. I successfully developed a web application called FDAS-Wallet for Fidelity crypto clients and customers, showcasing my proficiency in Angular, TypeScript, and agile methodologies.

My passion for leveraging technology to address societal challenges is evident in my involvement in various projects, including conducting a comparative analysis of US Census Datasets at the MIT-IBM Watson AI Lab. Through this project, I gained a comprehensive understanding of ethical considerations in AI and developed valuable insights into bias and fairness in machine learning models.
